Rising talents from different African countries unite for an exciting new EP.

A groundbreaking collaboration is underway as rising artists from across Africa join forces for an exciting new EP titled ‘Smile On Sofa Vol 1’.

This innovative project brings together diverse talents, representing the rich musical tapestry of the continent, to celebrate the talent, creativity, and cultural diversity in African music.

The EP put together by the creative collective Funfillage features twelve rising artists from Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana.

The 7-track EP ‘Smile On Sofa Vol 1’ was released on January 19, 2024, and it packs exciting music that cuts across Afropop, Amapiano, Afrobeats, and a fusion of different genres that reflects the continent’s dynamic musical landscape.

The EP is the first of other cross-continental collaborative projects that will see Funfillage assemble rising artists who are gearing up to make their mark on the African music scene.
