Soma has since become a tending topic on X due to the breakup speculations

Big Brother Naija Angel has clapped back at trolls on X, over claims that she and her boyfriend Soma have broken up.

On March 18, 2024, fans discovered that Soma edited his birthday post for Angel from February 13, 2024, and removed the “I love youuuu,” which once concluded his heartfelt post. After the discovery, breakup rumours began to spread on X rather quickly.

“Anywhere they are laughing at this foolish boy, I shall be there. Imagine leaving your serious relationship for Angel let me confirm their breakup first,” a user said.

Angel saw the post and clapped back at the X user saying, “Now listen here flat face, I’m so tired of you wack ass, delusional ass bitches talking about nothing you know about. Leave us alone and focus on improving your perfume sales, idiot.”

In a separate post the reality TV star said, “Even if we broke up, so????? If that were the case? Did you see us dragging ourselves online, you people are in relationships you can only tell God about and you have the audacity. Idiots.”

Soma and Angel bonded during their time in the Big Brother Naija: All Stars house and their relationship budded from there. Due to the public knowledge that they both had romantic partners outside the house before going in, their union was met with scepticism from many.

However, after their eviction, the couple had an interview with Classic FM, speaking on their in-house relationship that became a fan favourite. There, they stressed that they intended to keep their new-found relationship going.

In response to the criticisms received, Soma stated that their relationship was not planned upon entry into the house as neither of them had any plans to get into any relationship. He added that nature had other plans as they grew a liking to each other over time.
